Exiting the turbolift, Orith looked down at his PADD to go over the directions that would lead him to his quarters. Once the quick once over was over he began walking after picking up his luggage. He still couldn't believe he was given this assignment and still saw it as some form of punishment for something he did. Was he a bit rough with Tal Shiar agents during interrogations? Sure, but who hasn't? He sighed inwardly, maybe command truly did think he was the right person for this, which only added to the embers of his frustration.

Aella 5 | CIV BOT 27-Feb-22 02:10 AM
Aella zoomed down the corridor, walking faster than she even thought she could. She was in such a rush she forgot her modified visual sensory display so she could actually navigate the station. BAM "I swear to the Founders, I'm so sorry!!!" Aella scrambled to her feet when she realised he had ran into someone-- someone important looking too.
Avatar
erei' Riov Orith N'Ten | CIV BOT 27-Feb-22 02:19 AM
Orith was suddenly shaken from his thoughts when he walked in- No someone ran into him, quite a loud someone at that. A Vorta, now this was interesting, but with the Dominion being apart of the Khitomer Alliance it wasn't too strange. "It's fine, though you might want to slow down a bit before you run into a wall...or worse." By worse he meant something sharp, but considering this is a Federation Starbase, that was unlikely. Perhaps a Kilingon then? He could already see the Vorta being challenged to some kind of duel, in the name of 'Honour' which would just be an excuse to hit someone.
Avatar
Aella 5 | CIV BOT 27-Feb-22 02:25 AM
The tiny Vorta's vision was still pretty blurry from the crash. It was hard to discern who exactly she ran into. He looked important, but she merely saw a tan blob. "I guess I was just in a hurry. You see, the Vorta have very poor eyesight, it is the will of the Founders, but our hearing is excellent," Aella took a couple steps closer to Orith so she could get a better look at his face. "A Romulan? And you are?"
Avatar
erei' Riov Orith N'Ten | CIV BOT 27-Feb-22 02:38 AM
"Stating the obvious I see." He wondered if he stood far enough would the Vorta perhaps confuse him for a Vulcan. If her eyesight is as terrible as she claims, there's a chance she might have likened him to a Reman. He didn't know which was worse, at least if he was the later he would still have his emotions. "Subcommander Orith N'ten.....Though I guess my rank doesn't count for much as a liaison. You may call me N'Ten. Now I do believe it is your turn to introduce yourself...."
Avatar
Aella 5 | CIV BOT 27-Feb-22 02:49 AM
Aella kept taking steps closer to Orith, trying to get a good look at him. Damn, she really needed to remember her display next time, but it was too late to get it now. "Subcommander N'Ten, nice to meet you. A fellow liaison I see. I am Vera'toran Aella 5, official Dominion liaison and speaker for the Founders."Aella straightened her posture, hoping she looked just as official as him. Aella was a bit of of a mess after the crash. "Well then, I will be on my way. It was nice meeting you. Let's get together another time,"Aella gave him a kind smile before going back to zooming away just as fast as she was going before. Truly, she never learns.
Avatar
erei' Riov Orith N'Ten | CIV BOT 27-Feb-22 02:56 AM
Orith watches the small woman dart away, whatever had her in such a rush must've been important. Judging by the fact no alarms were sounding off in the station, it was likely a personal matter for her. On the bright side he got to meet another Liaison like himself within an hour of his arrival, he would commit her name to memory. "Now to get settled in..." He would continue walking down the hall, hoping to find his room soon.

After finding his room, the Romulan decided it was best to take a walk to familiarize himself with the Starbase and headed for the turbo lift.

"It's not your fault." She continued in a hurried pace down the hall, did she know exactly where she was going? No, she didn't...well not exactly. "Just...I can't right now." She made her way towards a turbolift.

He tried to keep onto her hand firmly. "Wait... I can forgive you... I just want to you know... have a good relationship with you... I'm willing to do whatever it takes." He was full of blame at himself but, he wasn't about to tell her that bluntly.

Avatar
Ensign Edward Nately | SCI BOT 28-Feb-22 03:57 AM
He nodded. "I want nothing more then to be a good brother for you. Living without a family all my life... I just want to make up for it now that I have you..."
Avatar
Virana Taf | CIV BOT 28-Feb-22 04:01 AM
"You keep saying that you had no family, did they really mean nothing to you? Your adopted family, I mean. You probably had a better life with them than us." She said thoughtfully.
Avatar
Ensign Edward Nately | SCI BOT 28-Feb-22 04:03 AM
He slumped down against the corridor wall. "They are good people but, they aren't my family. I love my adoptive parents but it just isn't the same as knowing I have an actual sister. My foster sisters were almost like friends even if I cared for them dearly."
Avatar
Virana Taf | CIV BOT 28-Feb-22 04:07 AM
"Then why do you want this broken family? You can't say that nobody loves you when you had them? And from what your saying their ages better than us." She frowned.

Ensign Edward Nately | SCI BOT 28-Feb-22 04:10 AM
He plastered a smile onto his own face. "Well because I like you... and I like Serri and knowing we are family... I love that! You two are probably my best friends on the station."
Avatar
Virana Taf | CIV BOT 28-Feb-22 04:14 AM
"No... somethings not right, even before you knew us you wanted to find your family. Why? Why weren't you satisfied with your other one?" She said thoughtfully. "Did they abuse you or something?" She narrowed her eyes.
Avatar
Ensign Edward Nately | SCI BOT 28-Feb-22 04:17 AM
He raised his eyes in shock and quickly shook his head. "No I loved them and all but, I just felt this weird feeling in my gut... like I needed to find them... that a part of me was missing by not knowing them."
Avatar
Virana Taf | CIV BOT 28-Feb-22 04:23 AM
"How do they feel about your obsession with finding your biological family?" She asked curiously. "Yes, we're your actually family but don't push them away what you have because you want something else." She said thoughtfully. "I love you, you're my brother but don't...we aren't everything."
Avatar
Ensign Edward Nately | SCI BOT 28-Feb-22 04:31 AM
He gave her a big hug aswell. "You have no clue how long I've been waiting to hear that... I love you too." He thought about how to answer her question. "I actually haven't really talked to my foster parents all that much recently... they have a lot of adopted kids, they don't really have time to talk to me..."
Avatar
Virana Taf | CIV BOT 28-Feb-22 04:34 AM
"Ah, that's what she was looking for.* "I see, I'm sure they still care about you though. And you know what? It would be lovely to meet them and your sisters." She said with a smile.
Avatar

She also wanted to meet up with that Whidbey guy again, she had a lot of philosophy to talk to him. She had search up 'Shower' thoughts and wanted to debate whether water was wet. She took out her PADD and began typing a message to Whidbey outlining her arguments with hopes of arranging a date. Of course whilst doing all this she was not watching where she was going at all....

HoD Rozadas | CIV BOT 24-Mar-22 07:53 AM
It wasn't long until a particularly large obstruction planted itself just in front of her, as the uncaring Gorn was too distracted peering at the signage. There were still things not yet receiver aside from his Universal Translator, and a PADD definitely would have came in handy now. Large, broad body littered with muscles and scars, silver scales abrasive and rough, it definitely didn't hurt that the fabric Rozadas donned was itchy. Not in the conventional sense, no, but it chafed horribly, and the Gorn wanted something a bit more comfortable. But duty was duty, and complaining about such meaningless things made him a petaQ, a baktag of a Gorn. Three-fingered hands, tipped with sharp claws, gently pulled at his uniform's collar. This was definitely going to be a hilarious collision, because the Gorn was eight-foot-seven as well as four hundred and seventy-five pounds, he was large enough to count as his own planetary body. The doorways already proved troublesome, and it wasn't until the pitter-patter of smaller feet upon the deck, that Rozadas considered the idea of others. Far too late, his slitted eyes flicked down to note the approaching Dominion-lover, before remaining silent. It wasn't like he particularly enjoyed their kind, but for the sake of decency, he kept quiet. For now, silver eyes and onyx-black slitted pupils glared at her, glowing faintly...

Aella 5 | CIV BOT 24-Mar-22 08:02 AM
"In Standard you often say 'the building is on fire' but in reality the fire is on the building,‘ Aella typed out on her PADD. She was having so many thoughts about life, like... If you clean a vacuum... You become a vacuum cleaner. The brain is the only organ that has named itself and studies itself. Just then, Aella noticed a dark shadow in front of her and stopped right before the collision. "O-Oh!" She looked up from her PADD at the towering Gorn in front of her. She adjusted her glasses on her face and blinked a couple times. "Hello, you must be new," She greeted with a smile, showing no fear. He was giant, but she was not scared. It took a lot to intimidate a Vorta commander after all.
Avatar
HoD Rozadas | CIV BOT 24-Mar-22 08:15 AM
Glinting eyes observed her, and the outbreak of a toothy, intimidating smile spread its wings across the Gorn's maw. Pausing his efforts to get his uniform to be slightly more comfortable, the Dominion's targ (her uniform was a dead giveaway, and even if not, he was appraised on the other diplomatic liaisons to make cmmunication easier) made itself known. Being appraised by her visibly no doubt gave some answers, his weapons were not on him (a great shame) yet it didn't seem it mattered much when theoretically the Gorn still could snap a man in half. A bellicose chuckle rumbled its way from his throat, maw slightly opened to reveal several rows of ivory-colored teeth, clawed hands resting at his sides. It wasn't mocking, but it wasn't quite friendly either, more-so in the middle-ground of humored at her misfortune. Noting her features and jotting them down to memory, Rozadas finally hissed out a response. "You must be new too, Hur'q; I have not seen your kind much in Klingon space." The Gorn said no more, but one got the impression that he found her ramblings amusing. Especially when his head craned over and gaze flickered over to the PADD, studying the lines. It was nonsensical rambling, to say the least, and the Gorn hated the concept of philosophy. It was not for him, and there was only honor or dishonor. Simply as is, though Rozadas didn't comment on this. Instead, the Gorn's hulking frame merely stood there, menacingly. As if idly wondering what or who he was choosing to engage his time with. Well, unintentionally choosing, soon he'd be on his way to his office, of course...

Aella 5 | CIV BOT 24-Mar-22 08:30 AM
This giant dinosaur was rather interesting. Just as much as he was studying her, she was studying him. Her head tiled upwards to look at him. He was tall, sharp teeth, a typical Gorn. Aella hadn't met many of them during her time in Dominion space, but she was familiar with the basics of his species. The tiny Vorta took a couple steps back so she wasn't so close. Her movements were graceful, fluid, like a lily on water. She lowered her PADD down to her side and with her other hand tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Just like a Vorta, always playing innocent and cute. What they lacked in physical strength they made up for in their looks and power of deception. "Yes, my name is Aella 5. Vara'toran, Dominion Liaison, and official speaker for the Founders," She said in her sing-song style voice. "And you are?" She raised an eyebrow, giving the Gorn a warm and friendly smile. It looked fake, all Vorta had honeyed tongues and deceptively charming personas. This is why they were probably one of the most hated races in the galaxy.
Avatar
HoD Rozadas | CIV BOT 24-Mar-22 11:17 AM
Given how they were attempting an obvious baited hook of a deception, the Gorn, already mistrusting of anything not in Klingon space, found her about as charming as an eel. Eyes burnt with slight annoyance, even as her graceful, fluid movements were contrasted by his own ponderous motion. Yet, the Gorn, Rozadas, was not exactly one to fall for her "cute" charms either, she was hideous by Gorn standards anyway. Then again, breaking diplomatic tact was likely a poor idea, and could be used against the Klingon Empire- something he was not willing to afford. So for now, the Gorn played nice, though Rozadas privately wished this encounter ended sooner, rather than later, lest he decide to engage in an "inter-diplomatic incident" involving an airlock and the Vorta being jettisoned by accident. Though something told him she was not dumb enough to fall for that. "Rozadas, Gorn. Liaison of the Klingon Empire." Short, to the point, and avoiding any personal mention beyond a name. Aside from his occupation, which was required to be stated, the Gorn left any information that was viable against him off the table. He was not going to give the damnable Vorta a single ounce of ammunition. Not one, but yet, he began slipping to the left, studying the station around him. Curiously, it was unique, fascinating. Unlike her, as Rozadas slithered his glare back over to her, before replying. A tone of cool patience was in his voice as was politeness, but it was not easy to read his reptilian facial features for certain. "I will be going now." And with that, Rozadas, the Gorn, attempted to slip past her, and hopefully explore the station more in depth. This was his new home for the time being, after all...

Of course this guy was not going to be charmed by her cute act, Aella knew that but she had an image to uphold! She was a Vorta and she was going to play into every stereotype, she had to stay true to her brand! She was trying to be better, but her Dominion Pride™️ would not be changed overnight. Anyway, she bowed her head and let the Gorn pass. Frowning a bit when he didn't say anything else to her. She was hoping to speak with the Klingon Liaison, but it was clear he did not share the same opinion. "Well, bye." She said in a sarcastic tone, turning her head and continuing down the corridor. If he wasn't interested in talking with her then she wasn't interested in talking to him! She lifted her PADD once more and resumed her philosophical questions.
Aella questions - Can two vegans still have beef? - What flavour is water?
Good, good, this will be great the next time she meets Whidbey.

Nothing in particular had happened on the lower habitat ring today, something which was a rarity. Normally something would occur; a child would run away from their parents' care and escape down the corridor, someone would put in a noise complaint despite the walls being sound-proof, someone else would manage to flood their quarters somehow... Today there had been nothing so far, but that was about to change. People milling around came to a rather swift halt at the sound of terrified screaming further down the corridor, everyone stopping and turning to see if they could spot what was going on. "No, no, you can't do this to me, you can't take me there, please, please no-" this person screamed, speech being changed by the universal translator from a language rarely used in the Federation.

Coming out from the Jefferies Tubes after a rather interesting conversation with a certain shorts-loving ensign, Renakir was looking forward to ending his shift for the day. He crawled out of the tubes and stood up, stretching his arms and legs. He pushed his little sunglasses back up on his face and shook some dust from his hair. It was a normal day, normal everything but that's when-- 'Someone is speaking Havrannsu?' A thousand generations of Reman paranoia flooded his body as he began to make his way swiftly down the end of the corridor towards the sound of the voice. He wasn't sure why or how, but the voice awakened some dormant memory inside of him and his mind was telling him to go find out what it is immediately.

"Please," this person exclaimed again, voice somewhat muffled as if they were trying not to cry, distraught. There was the sound of boots scuffing against the floor in the background - it sounded as though this person may well be struggling against whoever was trying to remove them. "Please! You can't send me back there! You don't know what they'll do to me, or- or maybe you do! Maybe you do and that's why you're sending me back there, because you don't care about what they'll do to me!" "Be quiet," a second voice barked, gruffer and deeper than the first and speaking in a different tongue, "you're embarrassing yourself and making a scene. You are a criminal, and you will pay for your actions when you're back on Mol'Rihan."

There were too many people in the way, he couldn't get a clear sight of what was happening. Despite his height, it wasn't really helping especially when everyone in front of him was also tall. As he tried to push past the people crowding the way, that's when he heard a second voice, in a different language. The tone of the second voice made Renakir's skin crawl and he began to grit his teeth. But he was a Starfleet officer, still in uniform no less. There was nothing he could do, right? Continuing on his bee-line towards the sound of the two voices, he was a boy on a mission. Oh how he wanted to scream right then and there, make crazy accusations, he was going to give whoever was doing this something to scream about. It was a good thing his eyes were hidden behind his sunglasses. "What's going on?" He said back in Havrannsu as soon as he cleared the large grouping of people, he was still not at the front, but close enough to be within earshot.

In typical fashion everyone had crowded around the scene, eager to find out what was going on. People weren't just curious, they were nosy: and on a starbase with a closely-knit community, everyone loved to know the drama. Through the gaps in the crowd Renkair could make out what was happening: a Reman woman stood to the centre, being held with arms behind her back by two officers in Romulan Republic uniform. "Move aside," the same officer as before stated, this time speaking in Standard to address the crowd. "You are actively impeding the transport of a criminal. Stand aside or we shall be forced to have your Security officers called for all of you as well."

While the officer spoke the woman who seemed to be at the centre of it all continued to struggle, but clearly wasn't strong enough to break out of the guard's grasp. A few people did begin to move at the threat of security being called - and it was as they did and the noise began to die down that she heard someone shout in Havrannsu. Immediately she froze, eyes desperately scanning the crowd as she tried to seek out whoever had spoken. "Please, you have to help me, they're trying to take me away!"

It was as clear as night on Remus, the voice, the uniforms-- Renakir shoved his way through the people in front of him and that's when his eyes met the lone Reman being pulled and pushed by two Romulan guards. For a few seconds he was speechless, his mind trying to process what was going on. He never heard about this-- why was there a Reman being held in the Lower Habitat Ring and why did he not know about it? "I-- I.." It felt like the wind had been knocked out of him, he couldn't even begin to find the words to say. You have to help me,-- Why did those words sound so familiar. The pleading voice of the Female Reman, the shouts from the Romulan guards, he had seen this before. Tears began to form in the corners of his eyes as he looked at the scene unfold in front of him. "Stop it, you're hurting her!" As soon as the guard told the crowd off in Standard, Renakir shot back in Rihannsu. Whilst everyone was dispersing, Renakir held his ground, refusing to move.

Narrator BOT 09-Jun-22 10:21 AM
The crowd had certainly began to disperse, but at the sight of a Starfleet officer suddenly standing their ground in front of the Romulan officers, a few people lingered to see how this would play out. The guard who seemed to be in charge of this escort - tall, burly, and exactly the type of person who fit the stereotypical Security officer vibe - looked down at Renakir with distaste. "We are not hurting her, we have her restrained. If the prisoner decides to purposefully fight against her stasis cuffs then that is on her, not us. Now: stand aside, or you will be classed as impeding a prison escort."

Lt. JG. Renakir Torre'vnau | OPS BOT 09-Jun-22 10:26 AM
"What are her crimes? What right do you have to treat her like that?" Renakir shouted back at the guard. Was this boy really about to risk his career for this single Reman woman-- a woman he had never seen? His eyes went from the guard to the Reman stranger, still struggling against the guards. It didn't matter what her crimes were, she was being mistreated and that wasn't right. Renakir was trying to justify his actions in his mind, he was a freedom fighter by nature he would do this for anyone he saw being mistreated. "She's clearly in pain, you're dragging her on the floor!"
Avatar
Narrator BOT 09-Jun-22 10:29 AM
"We are treating her like any other prisoner. She is not being 'dragged on the floor.' She is stood up, and if she refuses to move and stumbles, then that is her own fault. Now: move." The last word was stated firmly, the Romulan's eyes narrowed into a glare as he looked Renakir up and down. "We do not need to answer to you. This is an authorised transfer, and should you continue to impede it, we will quite gladly have you arrested too."

The threat of arrest was enough to make Renakir take a step back when the guard moved. He looked back at the Reman, beady little silver eyes blinking behind a pair of dark sunglasses. Even with his eyes obscured, he looked at the woman sympathetically. "I'm sorry, I can't do anything," He responded in Havrannsu to her, his lower lip quivering as he spoke. He took another step back and clenched his fist to his chest. The Romulan guard was lucky they weren't anywhere else in the galaxy because if they were, he'd throw down without a single word. "I-- I'm Renakir of the house of Torre'vnau, my mother is Reman Senator Meruvix," He said quickly right before taking another step back, for fear that the guard would scold him again. He couldn't help her, but maybe his family could? If anything she could find his family through his name, maybe-- just maybe there would be hope for her.

At the mention of this man not being able to do anything - this other Reman, she was pretty certain, despite the hair and the Reman features which weren't clearly defined - she stopped in her struggle, downtrodden. Her gaze fell to the floor, realising that the one person who might have understood couldn't do anything -- but then he mentioned family and her gaze shot back to him again, eyes glistening. When she spoke her pace picked up with every word, desperate. "Can she do anything? Can she help? They can't send me back, they can't, they'll hurt me, the things they'll do to me-"

His attention turned back to the guards as he switched back to Rihannsu. "Where are you taking her? What are you going to do to her? I am Solait of the honourable Torre'vnau house and I demand to know what you are going to do!" He was really out here trying to get arrested for a Reman stranger, wasn't he? The guards probably didn't care about his family name, but he was going to flaunt it even if all it did was get the guards to listen to him.

Guard one was sounding more and more pissed off with what was going on here, gaze narrowed down at the Lieutenant as he scrutinised his features. Names meant nothing when you had direct orders, and the two of them here were escorting a criminal. Renakir moved aside as he was ordered to, but his eyes stayed fixed on the guards as they spoke. He was so close to just saying fuck all and going head in fighting. This was Reman freedom he was fighting for, it didn't matter what 'crimes' she had done. Two Romulan guards had a Reman woman handcuffed and her voice sounded just like... "Ri'ranov (mother)," He muttered under his breath as he clenched both his fists by his sides. He looked back at Akuvek and then at the guards. "I'm sorry," His eyes met Akuvek's once again before he finally turned away and walked back towards the crowd of people.

Renakir could hear her screams, but he knew he couldn't turn back. He was still in uniform and now that he had given her and the Romulan guards his name there was nothing else he could do. The small voice of reason (who sounded a lot like his roommate) was scolding him for acting so impulsively and illogically. Not only did he obstruct justice, but he gave his full name to an (alleged) criminal and two unknown Romulan guards. His father was certainly going to hear about this, word travels fast on Mol'Rihan. But she needed help. He couldn't just go back to his quarters and act like nothing happened. He may have not been able to stop the transport, but he could tell someone that she feared for his life-- that the Republic was not as nice as the Federation thought it was. Yes he was going to take the word of one Reman, but he saw it unfold with his own eyes. She was being hurt, there were still many Romulans who saw Remans as nothing more than dirt beneath their shoes. He couldn't do anything to save his mother all those years ago on Remus, but he could do something now*.

T’Rama was a Vulcan woman of average height. She was thin, perhaps a little too thin, and though her posture was perfectly straight and orderly and her expression was stoic, she did look slightly disoriented. Her dark eyes scanned the corridor and she seemed to be in the middle of a realization. That realization being that she was not where she was supposed to be. Actually, that was more than true. Not only was she on the station’s wrong ring, it felt like she wasn’t even supposed to be on this station at all. She was supposed to be at home, in her husband’s arms, or at least mourning his death, but not here, not searching for some green-skinned man who worked in space. T’Rama supposed that maybe she was lucky to have found someone who wouldn’t be around her all the time. That way, she could grieve in peace at least for most of the time. She was dressed in Vulcan robes, the standard tunic and a more formal, forest green robe on top. Her black hair was falling over her shoulders and she had a neat fringe covering her forehead. She was an attractive woman, but in her dark eyes lay something that tended to make people uncomfortable.

And here was the resident Vorta, walking towards the turbolifts. That silly boy Nalas had recently updated her medicine to hopefully allow her to taste chocolate. It was so frustrating trying all this different pills, hoping something would work. It was a good thing Vorta metabolism was so fast, it allowed her to eat without gaining weight too fast. As she walked down the corridor she saw a Vulcan woman and gave her an acknowledging head nod. Soon after she did so she did a double take when she realised-- wait this stranger looked lost. Aella, dressed in a long flowy purple satin dress turned on her heels and walked back to the stranger. As she did so, her dressed flared out and her long braided hair fell over her shoulder. "Are you new here, miss?" Aella asked in Vulcan. Actually quite surprising, her Vulcan was pretty good. It was the job of a Vorta commander to know a lot of languages, after all.

She saw this encounter as an opportunity to get some help with getting around the station. “I am merely visiting,” said T’Rama, appreciating the fact that this other person’s Vulcan seemed very fluent. “My name is T’Rama, I am looking for the quarters of Lieutenant Junior Grade Remun T’Lauk. Would you be able to help me?” T’Rama’s voice was very quiet. It was cool and smooth, but laced with an undercurrent of something like carefulness. She didn’t sound hesitant, per se, but she sounded like she didn’t want to be a bother. Other than that, her appearance remained perfectly logical and emotionless.

Aella's silver heeled sandals clicked together as she stepped one foot in front of the other, the butterfly wings on the heels brushing against one another. She looked like a purple butterfly especially with her hair braided so delicately by her Zhimata and her light purple eyes. Everything about her shouted elegant maiden not Vorta on a starbase. Certainly she was here for a different party than everyone else. Eshen's impact? "Hello T'Rama, I'm Aella," She knew Vulcans would not be outwardly spacist or prejudice towards her, spacism was illogical, wasn't it? She gave the woman a soft smile as she tucked her PADD away into her back and took another step forward. "I am unacqainted with the person you speak of, but this is the lower habitat ring. I think I know where his quarters might be though," Aella said, recalling the names on the doors around Eshen's room. She may not have known Remun, but the name T'Lauk certainly rang a bell. "I can take you there," She offered.

T’Rama gave a very small nod, it appeared almost like a bit of a ducking motion. Apart from the green robe, her clothes were all black. It felt appropriate. But T’Rama enjoyed fashion, it was one of her areas of interest, next to farming and science. And so, she took note of the Vorta’s beautiful outfit. “That would be… beneficial,” said T’Rama, and though her tone of voice did not show it, she was grateful. This station was awfully big and T’Rama didn’t want to get lost. She Surak’d away the illogical thought about Aella having a nice smile and she folded her hands in front of herself. T’Rama had this fragile aura about her, with her slim, long fingered hands and her restless eyes - she seemed to radiate some sort of sorrow, despite the Vulcan facade. “Thank you.” (edited)

Aella was no stranger to the Vulcan stoicism, in fact it was one of the first things the Vorta learned in the Dominion when it came to interspecies relations. Vulcans avoided physical contact, were touch telepathic, and above all; logical. This stranger was no different, everything about T'Rama seemed textbook Vulcan. The traditional robes (that looked very comfortable), the soft tone, and the perfect posture. "Follow me," Aella clasped her hands together behind her back and began to walk down the corridor towards #base-turbolift-2. What was the saying-- When in Rome? Aella mimiced T'Rama's posture and style of speaking, it was what was polite, right? It helped that her boyfriend was Vulcan as well and had spoken with her at length about Vulcan mannerisms. Aella treaded lightly as she always did, each step taken delicately as not to trip on her heels or walk too hastily to risk losing the Vulcan guest in the crowd.

Perhaps T’Rama would have been flattered or grateful if she knew that Aella thought she was a textbook Vulcan. T’Rama was in fact not always a textbook Vulcan. She tended to cry a lot, especially recently, one thing that was far from logical. She did as she was told, following Aella through the crowd and along the corridor, back to the lifts. T’Rama thought about whether it would be logical to make conversation with this woman, but since Aella had told her that she didn’t know Remun, and T’Rama was only here to meet the man, she didn’t find any other topic to talk about. She simply went to #base-turbolift-2 and entered with Aella.

loud metallic footsteps rang out in the cooridoor as a new arrival, an android of a most bizarre appearance. Everyone's favourite Vorta was walking down the corridor. Her dainty glass-like heels paired with her black frilly dress made it seem like she was here for a completely different party. Aella was dressed to impress, it helped that she didn't have a set schedule or duties like Starfleet officers. Whenever she felt like she was missing out on the fun she remembered that if she worked in Starfleet she'd have to wear that stuffy uniform. Not great. As her heels clicked against the carpeted floor she heard a strange voice. It was different from just the sounds of normal conversation, it sounded-- mechanical? She walked a couple more metres through the crowd with hesitant steps before she saw what appeared to be a race she had never seen before. At least it looked like that, 'android' never occurred to her. "Excuse me, are you lost?" She asked, noticing the other looked a bit disheveled and frustrated. Perhaps they were here seeking asylum or something?

Max seemed confused by Aellas talking about abstract concepts, such as her faith. Max tried instead to make sense of her statement through logic. "Your...Gods? Who are they? Are they some form of superior species?"

"Yes they are a superior species! They're changelings, shapeshifters. They can take any form or be anything-- even fire or smoke!" Aella said with much enthusiasm. "However I recognise outside of the Dominion they are just another alien race. But the Vorta and Jem'hadar see them as our gods because they created us. Much like androids actually," She tilted her head ever so slightly as she crossed her arms.,

@Aella 5 | CIV (@Alizati┊Aella┊Nalas┊Renakir) - jump if Max could have tilted her head too, she would have; but the static position of her neck joints, designed to prevent whiplash and allow for a full rotation arc of Max's head, prevented her from doing so. "I do not share such opinions of MY creators. If anything, I hold them in contempt. The process of My creation was not an enjoyable experience. It was a long, arduous, painful process, one which lasted several years."

Did she said something wrong? Aella tapped her feet on the ground as she shifted her weight between her two legs. This wasn't good as well as she thought. Maybe she was coming too close to the big G? She kept her smile though and bowed her head. "I see-- well I'll see you around Max. Have a pleasant stay," She waved and then scurried off down the corridor.

"oh...of course, goodbye." Max was left as confused as Aella as she watched her new acquaintance hurry off in a rush. Did she say something wrong? What she said about her creators and creation was the honest truth. She could still remember it in her memory files. Being used for experiments, tampering with her brain everyday, not letting her leave and never letting her see anybody. Things were different after she left, though she held onto those memories, because it reminded her of what HER faith was. To never fully trust another organic again.

Was this really happening? Holding hands with his beloved and going on a date. He did not realise how much he so desired this, in fact he thought he was too Vulcan to accept such desire. But Romulan Alizati very much loved this open display of affection, he held Men's hand as they walked down the corridor together.

Uncaring if any Vulcans saw them holding hands, Men led Alizati down the corridors into #base-turbolift-2.

Yellag’vin left Aella’s quarters and entered the hallway. When the door swooshed shut behind him, he’s realized how much lighter he felt. The loneliness was still there but the exhaustion has lessened. He still held the flower like it was precious as he walked cautiously back to #deleted-channel.

After a fulfilling rest, Yellag’vin bid his lily goodbye and entered the corridor. He needed to do a sweep of the station just to get his barrings. Also to scout out places to cover and to make note of possible threats. He strolled through the lower habitat ring, paying attention to the occupancy of each room and noting the people he passed. Nothing seemed too dangerous. He headed for #base-turbolift-1.

She stepped out of the turbolift, inspecting the shirt she was holding and debating internally about whether or not she likes it as she walked into her quarters.
